| Summary Purpose SCCLA supports programs that help provide opportunities to minority lawyers and promotes their full and active participation, such as the California Minority Counsel Program. We are committed to strengthening our ties to other local minority bars and are active in the Multicultural Bar Alliance (MCBA), a joint committee comprised of sister minority bar associations. These include APABA, APAWLA, Black Women Lawyers, JABA, John Langston Bar Association, KABA, PABA, Latina Lawyers Bar Association, Lesbian and Gay Bar Association, MABA, OCAABA, SABA, VABA and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
